Organise Your Visit

Our team welcomes more than 100 esteemed international delegations to the UNSW campus every year. Visitors call in for a range of purposes – some wish to explore partnerships with UNSW, some are looking for research collaborations, and others call in to get to know us better or simply to say hello.

Students should view our Future Students website for information about visiting UNSW. Arranging a visit to UNSW is easy.

You'll just need to follow these steps:

1. Think about when you would like to visit UNSW Australia
2. Think about what you'd like to get out of your visit to UNSW
3. Make a list of all the visitors in your party
4. Submit the visit request form, preferably 30 days prior to your visit
5. We will do our best to get back to you within five working days
6. We'll also stay in touch until your actual visit

All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa and this should be requested at least six weeks before your trip. Please see further information on the Department of Immigration website.

Use the visit request form to let us know if you will require a visa support letter.

Whether you’re looking to stay close to UNSW or in the centre of Sydney, there are plenty of options to choose from:

• Close to campus, our staff recommend Crowne Plaza Coogee - a great hotel overlooking the beautiful Coogee beach, just a 5-minute drive from UNSW.
• Alternatively, you might prefer to look into accommodation in the centre of Sydney - only a 20-minute drive from the campus. 
• During semester breaks, you can also enquire about the availability of on-campus accommodation.
